The Samsung Note 3 is currently the best specced phone available running Android.  It’s also the most expensive.  Fortunately, PagePlus users tend to be frugal, and I’m no exception. I took a chance on a used Sprint Note 3 with a bad ESN (doesn’t matter if flashing it to verizon) and a “Locked SIM.”  A few dings around the bezel (but not a scratch on the screen) only sweetened the deal further.  I made away like a bandit, getting this flagship phone for half its MSRP and nearly the same price as phone subsidized on a 2-year contract.  I just had to make it work.

*** UPDATE **** As most of you know android 4.4 is being released for the Sprint HTC One. As i continue to support this thread i have tested the OTA update to android 4.4 KitKat and this update does not break your 3g or flash. The radio for this update remains at Baseband - 1.00.20.1108 which means even after taking the OTA update you can still flash the Sprint HTC One to Page Plus if you have not done so**** UPDATE *****

This is a work in progress. I have learned so much about this in the past few days that it is hard to weed out what didn't work from what did.

Upon my research of trying to make a jump to prepaid on my iPhone, I was really left between a rock and a hard place. I had a Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 32GB. Now as many of you know, the CDMA iPhone 4 does not have a SIM card slot. So all GSM carriers were out of the question. The phone was given to me by a friend who had upgraded to the iPhone 4S and then the 5. It really was something I was thankful to have and now I needed to find a use for it.

This requires a CDMA iPhone not GSM. Should work just fine on aiPhone 4 or 4S. However a 5 hasn't been tested.
