Verify all information on your PC:
1st of all, please make sure that you have verified all of the information on your PC and such as:
  • Date and time on your PC are accurately set.
  • You are using your PC as Administrative
  • iTunes on your PC is updated to latest version.
  • Internet is properly working.
  • Verify your router or modem firmware is up-to-date.
  • The last thing in information is that, your Mac OS X is updated to latest version.
Verify the Security Software or Antivirus version on PC/Mac
The next thing is please verify that your Security software is updated to latest version. Mostly, it is under the Help tab on the Security software. There are no risks associated with updating the Security software, so feel free to update it.
Configuring the security software for iTunes and Apple:
After verifying the information and updating the security software, the next thing is to configure it properly. You will have to configure that in such a way that it should allow iTunes to contact Apple.
